Teaching Certificate in the Higher Education Program
As of Fall 2020, the Higher Education program has developed a teaching certificate for indiviudals who plan on continuing their teaching careers. The certificate will take two semesters to complete and will require students to take 2 in the fall and 2 in the spring. However, accommodations can be made based on students' plan.
The following are the course requirements for the Teaching Certificate:
- HE 5440 - College & University Teaching
- HE 5210 - Teaching for Equity & Inclusion
- HE 5220 - Exploring Digital Learning Environments in Postsecondary Education
- HE 5230 - Advanced Seminar in College & University Teaching (must complete HE 5440 first)
